First Night

In his big boy bed!
He laid down so sweetly with his little head on his little pillow and looked up at me trustingly as I covered him up with a blanket and sat down on the floor. We watched the fish swirl around on the ceiling as the night light projector cast it's pale glow. He reached out and felt for Brobee's soft hand and rolled over closer to his fuzzy friend. And then I watched as his eyelids fluttered open and closed fighting for just a few moments until he drifted softly into sleep. Tiny kisses good night-sweet dreams, sweet boy...
