Cam sneaks his first taste of Cool Whip just when he thinks I'm not looking. I offered him some as we made icing and he vehemently refused. But after one lick, he was scraping the bowl no matter who was watching...

Baking Buddy

Cam was all about stirring and mixing this afternoon as he helped me whip up an old fashioned pistachio cake. He was totally serious about following the recipe and getting it made correctly.

Since coming home from the hospital, I have really noticed some changes in the way Cam entertains himself and plays. He has really gotten into playing independently and making up games and stories as he goes.
Here he is "blasting off" one of his space men. And he can usually be found with a tiny helicopter in hand just looking up at it and flying it all around the house. Or like in the picture below, riding his Elmo Plane like its a bucking bronco and then crawling underneath it with his wrench to see what's wrong and fix it.
And his story telling, well that's just another post all it's self. Couple his creative little imagination with his gift of gab and excellent vocabulary and you've got yourself a two year old who can spin some fabulous little tales!
He is at such a great age right now I can't bear to miss a minute!
